We Grew Up Here, 2019

Thinking of people who grew up in and currently live in Bolivar, NY, my home town. When I met with these people I told them that I was taking photos of people who have grown up in Bolivar, and asked if they would mind if I took their photo. These interactions happen in multiple iterations, from walking down the street and running into people to scheduling times to meet up with the manager of our scissor factory who walked me through the factory. Throughout this I’ve realized just how much people are willing to help one another.
